Jamie: Thanks for that - I will action that.
I’ve spent £50 in coach\train tickets and £10 on printing out CVs to go up to London and tout for work. This won’t be the last time either. I’m trying my hardest to find a job in the Music Industry - MY INDUSTY. I have spent 30,000 and countless hours of un paid ‘experience’ over 3 years to get a degree that should allow me to move forward in this industry, something I wish to do. While our elected representatives who never paid for their degree educations do their best to make sure their jobs are safe by cutting everyone else’s. They will probably tell me that this is normal people have always had to look hard for the jobs they want, this is true. But look around you and feel the atmosphere. Can you feel the hope draining away? Can you feel the country sagging under the weight of this collective state of shame? Grey Britain indeed.
